CAD/CAM Technology

 

 

We utilize a 3D Laser Imaging device called the Omega Scanner to produce the quickest and most comfortable prosthetics and orthotics. It is accurate to within 1/2 mm! Faster and cleaner than the plaster casting method traditionally used. The scanner uses LEDs, cameras, and a laser to determine the capture every detail and contour of the surface. Since the scanner is a Class 1 laser device, no eye protection is needed. Prosthetic applications include the shape capture of below and above elbow, below and above knee, and partial feet. Orthotic applications includes AFO, spinal, and cranial remolding orthosis.
